The project aims to develop V4-Georgia cooperation in the field of creative tourism and through sharing the experience between partner countries stimulate of development of creative tourism products that may contribute to regional development. The project also strengthens networking opportunities and unites partner organisations' efforts for the joint promotion of creative tourism products.
The project aims to contribute to the increasing income of the creative actors through closer binding with the tourism sector. To do so, the project utilizes two main approaches: first experience exchange between Georgian and Visegrad countries in the field of development of creative tourism products and building capacity of local creative actors. With this aim, action envisages a joint seminar of partners in Georgia and the creation of joint mentors panel, which will support local creative sector representatives to refine their tourist products. The mechanism is set with the view to intensify the peer learning for Georgian as well as Visegrad country actors and suggests online training sessions which will blend the expertise of all 4 partner countries. The second pillar of the project is strengthening the presence of creative tourism actors in the digital space, in particular on the dedicated platform for creative tourism offers, which is currently being launched by the lead partner and the development of its audience. In this regard, the project will ensure the integration of partner country languages into the platform, a listing of corresponding products from these countries, and their joint promotion for the increase of popularity and traffic. Thus, the platform, which is much more friendly for Georgian suppliers but faces limited international presence, will become a strong shared tool for the marketing of creative tourism products and have a higher impact on the creative and tourism sector in all localities.
